Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, and devout pilgrims,
With feelings of deep reverence and spiritual joy, we invite you to participate in the sacred services of Holy and Great Week at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Trikoukkiotissa, so that together we may prayerfully follow the holy and saving steps of our Lord, from His Passion and Cross to the unwaning light of His glorious Resurrection.
These days are holy, filled with mystery, silence, prayer, and hope. The Church calls us to stand with humility and faith before the Most Pure Passion of Christ, to walk together with Christ the Bridegroom, to venerate with devotion His Cross and Holy Epitaphios, and to prepare our hearts for the great and radiant night of the Resurrection.
We await you all, young and old alike, to unite our prayers before the Most Holy Theotokos, to draw strength, consolation, and spiritual encouragement, and to experience within the sacred atmosphere of the Monastery the ineffable miracle of life’s victory over death.
May the participation of us all in the services of Holy Week become an occasion for repentance, inner renewal, and true communion with the Risen Lord.
