HOLY SERVICES – AUGUST 2025
"Hail, O Full of Grace, the Lord is with You"

August, the most sacred of months, is wholly dedicated to the Holy Mother of our Lord. Throughout this time, the Church enters into a spirit of Fasting, Prayer, and Deep Devotion, offering daily Supplications to the Theotokos, the Champion General of our Nation, for comfort, protection, and hope. Every stone, every icon, every candle in our Monastery bears witness to the love and reverent anticipation of the Great Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos.

With heartfelt spiritual preparation, our Monastery will celebrate the following Holy Services:

🔸 From August 1st to 13th
Every evening:
– 5:30 p.m. Vespers
– 6:00 p.m. Supplication to the Most Holy Theotokos
(Alternating Small and Great Supplicatory Canons)

🔸 August 6 – Feast of the Transfiguration of the Savior
– 6:30 a.m. Orthros and Divine Liturgy
Presided over by His Grace Bishop Porphyrios of Neapolis

🔸 August 14 – Vespers of the Dormition of the Theotokos
– 5:30 p.m. Festal Vespers
Presided over by His Beatitude Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus

🔸 August 15 – Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos
– 6:30 a.m. Orthros and Festal Divine Liturgy
Presided over by His Grace Bishop Grigorios of Mesaoria

With Reverence, Faith, and Unity, let us lift our hearts to our Most Holy Lady. May this August become a living Prayer, a candle ever burning at the Feet of the Mother of Light.
